The College seeks to provide a balanced curriculum to prepare you for the ministry. This includes ministering to the heart through the daily devotion by the resident pastors during morning chapel-time, the training of the mind through the teaching the biblical knowledge/truth in the classroom and the practical ministry through the mentorship programme with participating churches. The College organizes its schedule over the weekdays (Monday – Friday). During the weekends, you are expected to be engaged in the local churches where you will learn about the ministries of the churches by participating in them. The College will rotate you to different churches in your practicum where you will have the opportunity to understudy different pastors in the mentorship programme.

In the College Schedule, Chapel-time will be the first activity for the day, starting at 8.30am. This will be followed by the biblical language studies and morning lectures. Lunch break will be at 12noon. If there are afternoon classes, these will commence from 1.30pm until 3.30pm. Night classes will be held on Mondays and Thursdays, from 7.30pm-9.30pm. On Thursday afternoons, the student body will gather to pray together or they may venture into the local neighbourhood for evangelism as part of the college activities. For the periods where you do not have any lesson/activity, you are expected to make full use of the time for your revision and completing your assignments.

You are expected to balance the theological training by participating actively in the programme of the College and also the ministry of the local congregation (which you will be attached to) over the weekend. You will need to work closely with the pastor of the local congregation, who is mentoring you. You are to conduct yourself in an exemplary manner as you are an ambassador not only for the College but also for Christ.

The schedule is quite tight as you are expected to complete around 16 credits / semester. Much time will be spent in reading, revision and assignments. To complete these successfully, you must be focussed and not be distracted by other events in your life. On top of that, having a close walk with God in your own Quiet Time is critical to your success.
