Preparation for Application: Before you apply for admission, you must be certain of God’s calling in your life into the ministry of the Gospel (for Bachelor and Masters programme). Studying in a Bible college requires dedication and commitment. If you are not certain of the Lord’s direction, you may want to wait upon the Lord for divine guidance before applying to the college. You may want to share this with your local pastor or those spiritually-mature elders who know you well. They would be able to advise you on your suitability on the work of the Gospel.

Once you are certain of God’s calling, you may want to apply for admission to study in the college. Refer to the instructions on application procedure below and the flowchart as presented below. After submitting your application, you may want to prepare yourself spiritually for admission. A consistent prayer life and quiet time of meditating on God’s Word are essential. Studying in the College is a spiritual exercise which involves having a clear mind for the truth of God’s Word, a humble heart in the passion for God and a clean pair of hands to serve the Lord.

International Students: If you are a foreign student who is interested to apply to our College, please note the following concerning the English qualification required for all our programmes.

The medium of instruction in the College is English. It is important for all international students to attain a certain level of competency in English in order to follow lectures, read theological books / journals and to be able to complete assignments of term / research papers.

TOEFL/IELTS: If your academic qualification was conducted in a college / university where the medium of instruction is not in English, you are required to sit for a TOEFL / IELTS test (before your application) and to submit your scores with your application. The minimum score required is 60 for TOEFL iBT (internet-based test) or 500 for TOEFL PBT (paper-based test) or 5.5 for IELTS. The TOEFL / IELTS test must be taken within 2 years of the date of application.

Unless there is exceptional reason, the requirement of English proficiency is necessary for admission. If you are unable to fulfil the minimum proficiency level, you are advised to enrol yourself in English courses in your own country to equip yourself with a better command of English; and to retake the TOEFL / IELTS test before reapplying for admission.

English Proficiency Test (EPT): Upon admission, all international students will have to take an internal English Proficiency Test (EPT) which will be conducted by the College. The results of this test would not affect your admission. However, if you are unable to pass the EPT, you would be required to attend an English-course for a semester and to sit for the EPT again at the end of the semester. If you are unable to pass the EPT after four attempts, you would be deregistered as a student of the College. The College takes a serious view on the competency of English as part of the requirement for the academic programmes.
