Special Categories of Grades which carries zero Grade Point:

§  Incomplete: An ‘I’ (Incomplete) grade may only be given when a student failed to finish the course requirement due to illness or other emergency. The faculty member, upon his discretion, may set the limit for the completion of incomplete requirement within the span of one semester. Failure to complete the work with the extended deadline will result in an automatic ‘F’ grade.

§  Withdrawn: A ‘W” (Withdrawn) grade will be given to students who wish to withdraw from the course with valid reasons pending the approval of the Academic Dean.

§  Audit: An “AU” (Audit) grade assigned to non-credit students who attended a particular course by attendance.

Grading Requirement for completion of programme:

§  Graduation: Students must have a Grade Point Average (G.P.A.) of at least 2.00* and have completed the required hours of practicum in order to graduate.

§  Probation: Failure to maintain a G.P.A. of at least 2.00* at any point during the student’s programme will place the student under probation for the following term. If the student is unable to attain the GPA of at least 2.00* after the next term, his programme will be terminated.

* 2.33 for students taking Master programmes. 

§  Grade Reports: Students will receive a printed report of their grades at the end of each semester.
