The College is to provide training to prepare godly men and women for the effectual dissemination of the pure and unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ and the vigilant defence of the faith both locally and globally to the saving of souls and the setting up and building up of sound, fundamental reformed churches of Christ worldwide. By teaching the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God efficiently and training in practical ministry, the College seeks to effectively equip, train and produce graduates who are called of the Lord and who will do the work of evangelists, missionaries, pastors, and theological teachers through the ministry of preaching, teaching, and application of the Word of God by the enabling power of the Holy Spirit.

Our mission is to glorify God by equipping and nurturing men and women called of the Lord in the full-time and lay ministry; offering a Bible-based theological education that is pastoral, practical, and Spirit-filled; and to fulfil the Great Commission of Jesus Christ by upholding and encouraging gospel evangelism, world missions, church growth and planting, pastoral and other ministries, with a Biblical and Christocentric emphasis.

The motto of the college is “To Seek, To Do, To Teach” (Ezra 7:10). It is our desire to instil in the students a desire to seek the truth of the Word of God, a determination to practise the truth and the diligence to teach the truth.

The letter ‘e’ in the college logo stands for Emmanuel which has the meaning ‘God with us’. This prophetic designation of Jesus Christ highlights His deity (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23). This, together with His redemptive work symbolised by the cross are the tenets of the Reformed faith. The letter ‘e’ also stands for sound theological Education which is our vision, and for Equipping which is our mission. Christ’s pre-eminence in our ministry and mission is indicated by the central place of the cross in the logo. The letter ‘e’ reminds us of Ezra 7:10 from which our motto is derived.
